​​THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW AS MAYOR

ELECTIONS:

   The elections for a village/town/city will take place once at 4 years (8 Episodes) and they will always be announced. Also the episode title will contain the YEAR to be easier for you to follow. But keep in mind one thing: Your decisions will affect a lot the cims living there, their demands, their complaints and also might affect the investors too and your general influence!

 

HOW TO BECOME A MAYOR:

   To be able to become a Mayor for a village/town you have to participate at the elections and follow the below steps:

• Have minimum 1 Influence

• Be in top 5 people with influence that announces their candidacy on my Discord Channel when I announce it

• Prepare your strategy and post the most important 4 big projects plus few smaller ones (if you have) on the Discord Channel

  • Make sure you know what people are asking for (read the info on the page for the village/town you are announcing your candidacy for and also check the local budget)

• The candidacy of all 5 (or less) people will be announced in an episode and people will start voting based on the strategies and projects they have and then people can vote

WHAT DOES A MAYOR DO:

   Once you won the elections and you are the new Mayor you will start taking decisions based on your strategy and the local budget and discussing with me what you want to do and I will do all the builds (or you can dot them yourself if you can run my save game). Make sure you will fulfill your main 4 projects and respecting them.

• You gain 3 Influence per Project finished (the main 4 ones)

• You lose 5 Influence per Project unfinished at the end of your mandate (the main 4 ones)

• If you fulfill any other request from PEOPLE COMPLAINTS (see the main page of your village/town) you will get an extra 1 Influence

YEARLY INCOME (1 YEAR = 2 EPISODES):

   Each village/town has it's own income (check the page for that place that you are interested in and you will find more info there) and this can be influenced by many factors such as:

• local businesses 1 worker = 100 Skibbles / year

• number of people living there and paying their taxes 1 person = 100 Skibbles / year

• local party that will give an annual amount of Skibbles (this is standard for each location and it won't be changed)

• land sales (all the empty land can be sold and the money goes to local HALL) - one time only, not early

• exporting services: (electricity, water, garbage collection, road maintenance)

• tourism (each touristic location provides a certain income)

• sponsorship from companies (other people) - one time only, not yearly

YEARLY EXPENSES:
  Each location has it's own expenses (check the page for that place that you are interested in and you will find more info there) and this can be influenced by many factors.

PEOPLE COMPLAINTS:

   Each location has it's own complaints from people living there so always pay attention to their needs if you want to do a good job.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW AS INVESTOR (COMPANY)

MONTHLY INCOME: (REAL MONTHS)

   Each company will have an update on their income each month. Please check the STATS PAGE to see the last update.

• Income from CREDITS (PATRON TIER) will be added each month while you are Patron

• Income from your existing businesses will be added each month

* Each village/town/city has an INCOME FACTOR which is important for all companies that want to open a business there. Check the Business Page to see what is the income for your business and this will be multiplied with the INCOME FACTOR from the village/town/city where you want to build the business. The income factor will change during time when the location is improving (or not) depending on how things develop and this will change your business income in real time even if you opened the business long time ago *

MONTHLY EXPENSES:

   The only expense is what you pay from your treasury when you want to buy something (land, business, building, etc)

DEPENDENCIES:

   Almost each business has a dependency/requirements and also an output. Check the BUSINESSES PAGE to see which are those.

• Requirements: When you want to buy/create a business you need to buy a land/building and you have to check what is your business's requirement. For instance if you want to buy a Brewery you need Hops and the Hops are being made by a Hop Farm. So you either create first a Hop Farm or you find someone having an Hop Farm and ask if they want to provide you Hops. This can be done via my Discord Channel.

• Output: Each business has an output and this can serve as a requirement for a different business.

INFLUENCE:

   Influence is important only if you want to run for elections.

• Each village/town/city has an INFLUENCE FACTOR which is important for all companies that want to open a business there. Check the Business Page to see what is the influence for your business and this will be multiplied with the INFLUENCE FACTOR from the village/town/city where you want to build the business. The influence factor will change during time when the location is improving (or not) depending on how things develop and this will change your business income in real time even if you opened the business long time ago.

• Companies can also sponsor the local Hall which in return will get INFLUENCE: 100,000 Skibbles Sponsored = 0.5 Influence gained

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO STOP/STEP OUT

   As mentioned so many times, this series is to have fun and enjoy it in a whole new different way! We are all developing this map, but if you want to stop, well...you can of course! We'll have fun without you hehe! But in case you will do so please see below:

• It would be nice to let me know via discord/patreon if you want to stop being part of this to be easier for me to identify it

• Your company will continue, but you cannot do anything about it anymore and if someone wants to buy it then he/she can do it by "paying" 75% of it's cost. So if your total value of businesses is at let's say 1,000,000 then who pays 750,000 Skibbles will be able to have all you had. If there are more people then we'll do an auction!
